As the name suggests, this place is sat on warm, soothing thermal waters. And the Romans knew a thing or two about relaxation. So, there’s no better place than the Thermae Bath Spa. Adults only too, so perrrrfect for melting away any pre-nuptial stress. On the opposite end of the chill spectrum, you might like to try Bath Ghost Tours – it’s a must-do for fright seekers and scaredy-cats. Either way, you’ll be hungry.

Birmingham
From the beauty of Bath to the buzz of Brum. The UK’s second city has loads going on but we’ve picked out a couple of choice activities for you. A stone’s throw from the city centre is trendy Digbeth where, if you’ve got a steady hand, you can champion one of the best crazy golf courses we’ve ever seen! Or, wait for it – if you loved the Barbie movie movement –there is a dance class dedicated to it. Loads of fun, and only the cost of a Barbie Malibu Speedboat. Ideal for getting to our canal-side location, we say.

Bournemouth
Next, a gem of a south coast town. The smell of salty sea air. Soft sand between your toes. And naked men (cough). If that’s your thing, you can find some waiting patiently (unusual, we know) for an excitable group of hens to complete life drawings of them. Or, if you’re after something more physical to get your heart pumping, you can all wear giant beach balls and make as much Bubble MayHen as you like! (we can’t claim that pun – even though we’d love to). Anyway, from bubbles there to bubbles here…

Bristol
What a city! Funky. Trendy. Full of personality. And, since you’re in a county known for its farming prowess, why not join them? The Somerset Challenge is an action-packed It’s a Knockout style set of games that will get you giggling all the way to The Coconut Tree. Alternatively, in keeping with the rustic theme, axe throwing might be the perfect release. However, we’d advise you not to put pictures of the ex on the targets…

Cardiff
Home of the red dragon – and many-a-story of hen do frivolity, we’re sure of that. With all those gorgeous valleys and rivers about, why not work up an appetite with a spot of white-water rafting? But if cold and wet isn’t your thing, how about funny and dry? We’ve found an unbelievably witty way to spend some time with Team Bride: a comedy courtroom roast will defo put your hen’s sense of humour on trial with professional comedians playing judge, jury and ‘executioner’.
Where are we? Right by the big metal hoop in the city centre.

Cheltenham
You say Cotswolds – we say Cheltenham! Stacked with golden regency architecture and one of the most famous racecourses in the world, this is a spa town to die for. Such is the elegance of this place we thought you might like to try a spot of bespoke perfume design. Something memorable to keep that will come in handy on the big day. And, if you pick the right weekend, you could also don a glamorous hat and spend a day at the races. It is Cheltenham, after all.

Oxford
Given the world-famous university, you might think you need to be intelligent to come here. But picking Oxford as your hen-do destination is next-level genius! It’s packed with history and surrounded by countryside – including places to pop on a tweed jacket and try some clay pigeon shooting. Or if you’re really clever, you could compete in The Big Escape. A city-wide adventure, pitting hens against each other in a race to freedom. We only hope you figure it out quick enough to make your reservation at our Oxford restaurant.

Reading
Reading is the last alphabetically but it certainly isn’t the least. Home of some gorgeous abbey ruins and quaint canals, this Berkshire beauty has a lot to offer. For us, an absolute must is the Thames Lido. A little piece of relaxation heaven on the banks of the river. And you can’t visit a royal town without having a go at designing and making your own bunting. What better way to decorate your wedding venue than to get the bridal party to do it for you?! But don’t string it out when we bring you the cocotails – cos there will be sparklers!
